In reply to A. User's post on March 17, Didn't work. It just doesn't stick on task bar. In reply to nicholasscharff's post on May 30, Should note, I'm using Microsoft Edge, not Explorer. Doesn't setting the Homepage in Edge to Google work for you.? In reply to neilpzz's post on May 30, Not really. I want the Calendar icon on the taskbar that I've had in previous versions.

I did find a method online now can't find the webpage : 1. Open Chrome, go to Apps menu checkerboard near your picture, under shortcuts bar and right-click Google Calendar; select "open link in new window;" 2. Find menu icon in upper right three horizontal lines , thence "more tools;" 3. Click "add to desktop;" 4. I don't believe those steps work with Windows I tried similar but with Edge before I posted.

You can open the webpage you want and use More in Edge to Pin this page to Start but not the taskbar. Quite right. To pin to the taskbar, one must use Chrome. Basically, this makes it like an app with a button on the taskbar.

So, perhaps, Edge for browsing, Chrome to access the calendar, though I have to admit I haven't moved to Edge for browsing so far, mostly because of this sort of thing. Still, fewer and fewer barriers as weeks go by. I'm having the same problem the rest of the people are having. It does not stay on the taskbar. I guess another trip to Microsoft store to get help.
